Lender Wins Auction for Allied Fiber’s Southeast Assets

In April, Allied Fiber’s biggest lender forced its southeastern subsidiaries into bankruptcy after a longstanding financial dispute with the company.  An auction was set up, and that auction is now complete as of a couple weeks ago.  AF-Southeast LLC has received court approval to sell its assets to that same lender, Strome Mezzanine Fund IV LP for $24M. BSO Brings Its Low Latency Wares to Chicago

Level 3 Grew CNS Revenue, EBITDA in Q2

Verizon Wins the Auction for Yahoo

What the FCC’s 5G spectrum plan means for Ka-band satellite

Last week the FCC voted unanimously to open up nearly 11 GHz of high-frequency spectrum – 3.85 GHz of licensed spectrum and 7 GHz of unlicensed spectrum – for “flexible, mobile, and fixed use wireless broadband”, which basically means 5G. [Read more →]

Zayo Selected for Longhaul Dark Fiber
