Wednesday Roundup: STACK, Ritter, Munters, LiquidStack

March 26th, 2025 by · Leave a Comment

A data center, some FTTH, and two bits of cooling news:

STACK Infrastructure will be adding another data center out in Chicagoland. They have announced plans for a 263,000 square foot, 36MW facility in Elk Grove Village, about a mile away from the company’s CHI01 campus. The new build will be powered by a local ComEd substation and feature a closed-loop cooling system.

Ritter is bringing its RightFiber FTTH solution into Jacksonville. No, not the one in Florida, the one in Arkansas just to the northeast of Little Rock. The buildout is expected to be complete late in 2025 and is part of a $4M infrastructure project.

Munters says it is expanding its factory footprint and production capacity in the state of Virginia. They are looking to add 200,000 square feet of production space in a lot adjacent to their current facility in Daleville, which sits north of Roanoke. The move will enable Munters to meet demand for chillers and other cooling technology in the US data center market.

And LiquidStack is adding a second manufacturing facility in the Dallas metro area. They will be building out a second facility in Carrollton TX, adding some 17,000 square feet of space to their production capacity and R&D capabilities. The company is looking to meet demand for its direct-to-chip liquid cooling technology.
