Comcast Business says it will be powering connectivity for THE PLAYERS Championship 2025. Fans attending the golf tournament this week at TPC Sawgrass will have access to a range of next generation experiences including connectivity, security, and IoT technology from MachineQ that Comcast Business is calling Game the Green.
Crosstown Fiber has been busy out in Chicagoland. They said today that their infrastructure will be available to the Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park, offering connectivity to cloud resources and other research nodes. Investments in the budding quantum ecosystem in the Midwest do seem to be accumulating.
Strategic Venue Partners has tapped the credit markets as it prepares to meet the next wave of demand for in-building wireless infrastructure. They have raised $120M that will go toward a refinancing of SVP’s existing wireless infrastructure at a portfolio of discrete locations. Meanwhile the company has also refinanced its existing credit facility to support new development projects. SVP is backed by Tiger Infrastructure Partners and Brookfield Asset Management.
And Brightspeed is launching some new capabilities with the help of Calix. The upgrades will enable secure multi-gig services, an improved customer experience, and a self-managed solution for small business owners. The launch took just two weeks to put together, according to the company.
