STACK Infrastructure’s expansion down under is officially complete. Today the data center infrastructure provider said they finished work on their first APAC facility in Melbourne, Australia. The company has been building global infrastructure at a prodigious rate of late.
STACK’s newly facility adds 36MW of potential capacity to their portfolio with room to scale it up to 72mw. It sits on 3.6 hectares of land in Melbourne’s hyperscale corridor. The buildout was announced alongside parallel projects in Perth and Canberra that should also be ready before too long.
STACK also has facilities in the works in several other APAC markets. In Osaka they have a 72MW location with 3 buildings planned. In Tokyo they have 36MW in mind spread across two buildings. And in Seoul they have a 48MW data center in the works.
