It’s time for a quick summary of other data center news from this week:
EvoSwitch’s Norther Virginia data center picked up some new business from one of the company’s European neighbors. Teliasonera International Carrier has added space and brought its North American fiber backbone into the Manassas facility. Teliasonera has been steadily adding infrastructure in the US.
Austin’s Data Foundry added another disaster recovery customer to its rolls this week. The diverse field services platform WeGoLook will use their Texas 1 facility as a failover for their HQ up in Oklahoma City. And if you’re wondering just a diverse field services platform is, WeGoLook sends people to look at things and verify stuff, real estate for example.
In New York City, 325 Hudson’s meet-me room has been steadily gaining traction. This week’s progress saw Atlantic Metro Communications add a PoP in addition to the space they already operate cloud services out of in the building.
And across the rever in Secaucus, BBH Solutions has moved into CoreSite’s facility. The regional systems integrator is leasing both a private cage and office space in NY2. In addition to a lot of room for future expansion, NY2 has a low latency connection over to NY1 in Manhattan.
