With all those smartphones and tablets out there enabling people to do all sorts of things they’ve never done before on a mobile device, you’d think people would be happier with their wireless carriers than they were last year. But according to a Consumer Reports survey out today, it’s just not so.
AT&T took bottom honors again this year, garnering a ranking of 59 out of 100, down again from the prior year by a point. But on a relative basis they didn’t do any worse than Verizon and Sprint, who each lost a point as well to 73 and 72. T-Mobile took a slightly larger two point hit.
I suppose that it may just be the economy overall, people are generally less satisfied with pretty much everything and everybody these days. Or, it could be that 3G is feeling rather limiting now to all those iPhone, iPad, and Android users.
