A new CEO, a new data center, a backoffice upgrade, and some new tech:
euNetworks has named itself a new CEO. Marisa Trisolino will take the reins from Interim CEO Kevin Dean, who will step back into the role of Chairman. Trisolino will move over from CMC Networks, which she has led since 2018 following a two decade stint at AT&T. euNetworks has been actively building out next generation fiber infrastructure on Europe’s busiest routes over the last few years and maintained that momentum under Dean’s interim leadership. When Trisilino takes over on May 12 we’ll get to see what the next phase looks like.
Microsoft might be rethinking some infrastructure projects, but they are moving ahead with others. In an announcement today during Dubai AI Week, the UAE-based provider du revealed a $500M+ deal to build a new hyperscale facility in the United Arab Emirates. du will operate the facility with Microsoft as an anchor tenant.
Logix Fiber Networks has tapped CHR Solutions to improve its enterprise customer service capabilities when it comes to business fiber. The Texas-based operator recently announced a recapitalization and brought Greg O’Connor in as new CEO. With new leadership, a new financial structure, and new back office technology rollouts, Logix is looking to jump start its next phase of growth.
And in the realm of network technology you’ve probably never heard of, CSignum says it has raised £6M in a series A funding round. The resources will go toward accelerating the growth of the company’s EM-2 technology, which enables wireless networks through water, ice, soil, rock, and concrete. Such wireless capabilities are important for IoT applications, as not all connected endpoints are so easily accessible and you can’t build fiber to them all. CSignum is based out of Scotland
