Three regional projects and one international:
Nokia picked up two interesting regional deals to start the week. In rural Maine, Outer Reach Broadband will be deploying a range of Nokia’s technology to deploy a 10Gbps fiber network, with a path to 25Gps. Outer Reach Broadband is looking to complement its regional fixed wireless network. Meanwhile, Indiana-based BerryComm will be deploying Nokia’s 1830 PSS and ROADM gear to power a 100+ mile backbone from Indianapolis north to Logansport.
RadiusDC says it will be building a new colo facility in Nashville, Tennessee. The expansion, which is backed by Blue Owl Capital, will sit on 12 acres in the Trinity Hills area. At completion it will deliver 12MW of critical power and 102,500 square feet of space. RadiusDC also operates facilities in Denver and Miami.
And SM+ has broken ground on a major project in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta. SMX01 will cost some $300M and span some 15,500 square meters of white space across 9 data halls with support for 130KW racks. If all goes well, it will open its doors in the second half of 2026. SM+ is part of LG Sinar Mas, and is backed by the South Korean asset management company KIRA.
