A few interesting items to catch up with:
CityFibre says it has completed the primary build of its network in Hartlepool in northeastern England. Following a £21m investment over the last two years, the network passes some 33K homes. The job is never done though, and so CityFibre will continue to add depth in the town to serve more homes aned businesses.
euNetworks has launched Connected Portal, a new portal aimed at expanding its ecosystem across multiple channels. They are looking to provide greater data transparency in an easy to use interface. Last week euNetworks joined Connectbase as well, putting their deep fiber infrastructure in front of a wider customer base.
Gateway Fiber is gearing up for further expansion. They have upsized their credit facility by another $75M, making $250M in all. The proceeds will go toward their expansion in their three regions of Missouri, Minnesota, and Massachusetts, the third of which is their newest territorial move.
And Colt has unveiled plans to build out metro network infrastructure in Sydney, Australia. Colt first entered Sydney in 2018 by leveraging partners to reach customers, but will be building out to 20 data centers and pass 250 commercial buildings. Colt anticipates being ready to deliver services on the new infrstructure by March 2025.
