Four strategic partnerships and collaborations from four corners of the globe to keep up with:
iBasis has picked up another voice termination customer in the Caribbean region. Paradise Mobile will be using iBasis as its international gateway partner in a three year exclusive outsourcing deal. Paradise Mobile is based in Bermuda and is also planning launches of its virtual mobile offerings in the Cayman Islands and other destinations across the region.
Zenlayer has lined up a strategic partner to help with its expansion in the Asia-Pacific theatre. They will be using Global Switch’s data center footprint, which includes facilities in both Hong Kong and Singapore. The two companies will be targeting AI infrastructure demand with a joint solution built from Zenlayer’s Fabric for AI on top of Global Switch’s physical hardware and interconnection ecosystem.
Nozomi Networks is teaming up with Advens in order to address the cybersecurity needs of industrial and critical infrastructure environments. Advens will be incorporating Nozomi’s OT and IoT visibility, threat detection and risk management capabilities into its managed security portfolio. The two worked together earlier this year on cybersecurity at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
And Nokia’s optical technology will be getting a working in the Middle East. Ooredoo Oman will be building out a nationwide DWDM network with the help of Nokia’s flagship 1830 PSS. If all goes well the collaboration will see a commercial launch in March of 2025, which will fit in well with the Oman Vision 2040 initiative.
