A few interesting items from around the world at midweek:
Connectbase has picked up some more information depth over in Europe. The pan-European infrastructure provider euNetworks has joined the ecosystem, giving participants more ready access to its footprint. euNetworks connects some 545 data centers across 53 cities in 17 countries, and has been actively building brand new fiber infrastructure between the FLAP-D markets.
Ezditek and Gcore are teaming up to build out AI in Saudi Arabia with a new joint venture. Gcore’s cloud-based AI expertise and Ezditek’s AI-centric data center design and build capabilities will be combined into an ‘AI factory’. The two started working together on the topic back in May, and will be deploying their tech in one of Ezditek’s data centers, presumably in RUH01 in Riyadh when it goes live.
Some managed services technology is changing hands over in the UK. Resolute CS has acquired iceblue, boosting its capabilities in the procurement of connectivity. The deal covers a customer base of 30 and some 900 circuits globally, and will see iceblue continue to operate as a wholly owned subsidiary. Resolute CS, which is led by former Unitas Global CEO Patrick Shutt, plans to invest in scaling iceblue’s GRID platform.
And Viavi has picked up a key customer over in northern Europe. Denmark’s TDC NET will be using their NITRO AIOps technology to provide automated monitoring capabilities. The solution will cover the company’s entire IT and telecom ecosystem, including both mobile and fixed-line, transport and data center.
