Several international infrastructure moves to catch up with:
Colt unveiled several additions to its partner ecosystem. In Japan they have expanded their strategic relationship with Equinix over to Japan. Colt’s On Demand software-driven connectivity is available via Equinix Fabric in Osaka. Colt has 2400 on-net buildings in Japan. Meanwhile, Colt also added Genesys, Twilio, and Zoom to their cloud voice services capabilities, while expanding their Teams reach to Slovakia, Luxembourg, and Norway.
EdgeConneX’s Indian JV now has some significant new funds on tap. AdaniConneX has closed on a $213M senior debt facility, the proceeds of which will help fund their two data center projects in Chennai and Noida. Those two projects will feature 17MW and 50MW of capacity, respectively. AdaniConneX is looking to deliver as much as 1GW of capacity by 2030.
DE-CIX and SwissIX have completed a joint upgrade of the Swiss Internet Exchange. The 220 connected networks of the ecosystem are now using DE-CIX’s Apollon platform. SwissIX’s footprint includes 7 data centers in Switzerland, with DE-CIX now handling the technical side and SwissIX handling the business management and marketing.
