The cable giant Comcast has made an inorganic move aimed at enhancing its product portfolio. They announced this morning the acquisition of Blueface.
Blueface is based in Dublin, Ireland – a bit far afield from Comcast’s operating territory. But they apparently had something that Comcast wanted when it comes to Comcast’s business voice services. Their platform enables service providers to customize UC services for businesses of different types and sizes.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but according to the announcement the deal is already complete. Blueface will continue to operate as a unit within Comcast Business.
