I’m on the road this week, but still trying to keep up. Here’s three bits of acquisition news and a contract win:
Grain Management has made another fiber and network move. The private equity player has signed a definitive agreement to buy a majority stake in Ritter Communications. Ritter is an independent regional provider in Tennessee and Arkansas that has been busy expanding its infrastructure in recent years both organically and inorganically. The investment by Grain will enable them to continue to push the pace.
Momentum Telecom has finished up its deal for Cleveland-based DCT Telecom Group. The acquisition adds to Momentum’s UCaaS reach and capabilities. The deal gets Momentum more directly into the enterprise space and enhances its ‘white glove’ experience.
Intermedia has also made an acquisition this week. The UCaaS provider has announced a deal for the cloud contact center provider Telax. Toronto-based Telax specializes in CCaaS, a complementary line of business to the rest of Intermedia’s UCaaS and managed services. The deal will see 40 employees in Toronto shift over to Intermedia.
And BullsEye Telecom has won a key multi-location enterprise contract. The Saxton Group has tapped BullsEye to power its communications network at more than 80 of its restaurant locations. The deal improves Saxton’s voice capabililities, saving money while leveraging a VeloCloud SD-WAN and providing a signle point of contact.
