Not a lot of big news so far this week, but plenty to keep track of anyway:
Windstream Enterprise has added some new integration capabilities to its UCaaS offerings. The company’s OfficeSuite UC and HD meeting applications now integrate with Slack’s team collaboration tools. Windstream has been pushing deeper into the enterprise managed services space on the back of its SD-WAN deployments, adding extra value along the way with integrations like this. Of course, most eyes are on the parent company’s BK proceedings these days, but business must go on whatever comes out of that.
Anova Financial Networks has a new partner in its effort to lower latencies even further in the financial sector. They are working with NovaSparks’ NovaTick solution for their new MicroFeed offering. The result is even faster connectivity between the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and all five major New Jersey exchange destinations. NovaSparks solution conflates data for sub-microsecond processing latency for the entire trading cycle.
CenturyLink has added a new managed service line to its voice capabilities. Yesterday they launched Managed Emergency Call Handling, aiming at enabling public safety organizations to move to the cloud. With nextgen 911 services mingling with legacy systems, those agencies can certainly use the help.
