May 16th, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

One acquisition, one new customer, and one new interconnection service:

Green House Data has made an inorganic move into DevOps. The cloud services, data center and hosting provider has announced the acquisition of Deliveron. Deliveron specializes in producing custom software and solutions for customers. Green House Data wants to leverage those abilities to enable its customer base to deploy new apps and other technologies quickly.

Interxion has won a new customer up in Scandinavia. The Swedish digital infrastructure services company Binero Group will use a new PoP within Interxion’s data center campus in Stockholm to help power its expansion. From there the Binero Cloud will also be able to connect directly to the major public cloud platforms of course.

And France-IX has launched a new Peering-as-a-Supplementary-Service (PASS) offering. The idea is to offer peering members at one IX the option to peer at another IX without needing an actual physical port there. In this case, France-IX is talking about its Paris and Marseille internet exchange points, between which it maintains two diverse 100Gbps transport links with less than 12ms RTD latency.
