Happy New Year! It’s that time of year again to take stock of the M&A landscape in the world of network operators. Which network operators do you think are most likely to get bought this year? Last year, we didn’t do so well. Last year, four of the top ten picks changed hands: FirstLight, Everstream, Cross River Fiber, and Sprint (still pending of course).
The results of this poll will be featured in a keynote at Metro Connect in Miami later this month. I expect to be there, so feel free to look me up at the event!
I’ll revisit this poll and give my feedback and personal pics next Monday. Tomorrow I will post the related poll of which network operators are most likely to acquire other network assets this year.

UPN – didn’t Cox already buy them?
They bought a majority share, but the company still operates independently and be involved in M&A on either side. Perhaps I should lump them and Cox in together now though?
