In today’s roundup, two small M&As worth noting and a network expansion:
Congruex has struck again following its November purchase of CCLD, making further headway in its consolidation efforts in the telecom engineering and construction segment. With the help of its private equity backers at Crestview, they have announced the aquisition of CHC Consulting. The deal adds some additional OSP expertise to Congruex’s capabilities, and makes Congruex the fourth-largest pure telecom engineering firm in the US.
Meanwhile, Florida-based ColoHouse has announced the acquisition of NetRouting. The deal brings together ColoHouse’s 162K square foot Miami data center with NetRouting’s two facilities in the Netherlands and hosting/managed-services business. NetRouting had opened a node in Miami with Colohouse, and apparently the two companies got on well. NetRouting CEO is joining ColoHouse as CTO.
And Hurricane Electric has added some more international depth. They have deployed a new PoP in Amsterdam, moving into Interxion’s AMS8 data center at Pudongweg 37, 1437 EM, Rozenburg. They’ll be offering their usual suite of IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity to the facility’s customers there.
