Happy New Year! It is time to take the pulse of M&A in the world of network operators once again. Let’s start off with who Telecom Ramblings readers think are the most likely targets of consolidation. Which network operators do you think are most likely to get bought this year? Last year, three of the top five (Lightower, Lumos, and Wilcon) picked by readers did in fact change hands.
I’ll revisit this poll and give my feedback and personal pics next Monday. Additionally, on Thursday I’ll post the related poll of which network operators are most likely to acquire other network assets this year.
If you haven't already, please take our Reader Survey! Just 3 questions to help us better understand who is reading Telecom Ramblings so we can serve you better!

Axiom was acquired
Dang, I missed that one I guess. I have replaced them with ExteNet, the acquirer.
Lumos was acquired in 2017 by EQT Infrastructure
Yes, but just because it changed hands doesn’t mean it isn’t still out there operating a network and possibly changing hands again.
