The European data center specialist Interxion revealed some significant expansion plans this morning.  They’ll be building three new data centers in the key markets of London, Frankfurt, and Stockholm.

In London, the new facility will be on Interxion’s Brick Lane campus and will be given the moniker LON3.  It will add 1,800 square meters of equipped space and 3MW of power.  There will be only one phase, and it will be ready by the middle of 2018.  Capex associated with the project will be about €35M.

In Frankfurt, they’ll be building FRA12 just as they are working on the already-announced FRA11 at the same time.  FRA12 will add 1,100 square meters of equipped space and 2MW of power.  Both of those facilities will be readin in Q4 of 2017.  FRA12 will cost €19.

And in Stockholm, Interxion will be building its fifth data center, STO5, on its existing campus.  This one will provide some 2,200 square meters of equipped space and 3.5MW of power when fully built out.  The first phase will bring 600 square meters and 1MW of that online by Q3 2017.  STO5 will cost some €29.

Altogether, that’s $83M of capex planned for these three buildouts, which will be part of the financial guidance the company gives next week when it reports earnings.
