Level 3 is investing in additional infrastructure down in Latin America. They’ve been busy upgrading their total capacity in southern Brazil to the tune of an additional 250Gbps. The buildout is between Curitiba, to the south of Sao Paolo, down to Porto Alegre toward the Uruguay border. I’ll just pretend I didn’t have to look those up on Google Maps, just nod your head.
Interoute has picked up a unified communication customer. Brüel & Kjær is using their Skype for Business and Contact Centre cloud offerings, as well as SIP trunking, to transform its customer service. Brüel & Kjær specializes in sound and vibration measurement and management with business on three continents.
And CenturyLink has picked up a key global customer. They have signed a global premium supplier partnership agreement with Germany’s SAP to help power the SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud. CenturyLink is bringing both its network and cloud assets to the table through its global IT services group to make it happen.
