This week’s new listing on the Ramblings Jobs Board comes from Lightower Fiber Networks in the northeast, joining three other listings still active.
Lightower has renewed its listing for a Principal Network Architect in one of New York, Massachusetts, or Virginia. Seems like Lightower might be ready for further M&A at this point, with an emphasis on its southern and western frontiers. But there’s always plenty of organic buildout work in their current territory.
Lynx Network Group is still looking for a Wholesale and Strategic Accounts Executive and a Channel Manager up in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Both will be helping Lynx to take its 2,000 square miles of regional and metro fiber to market. The Wholesale and Strategic Accounts Executive will focus on the usual suspects: wireless carriers, ISPs, ILECs, CLEC’s, MSOs and strategic accounts. The Channel Manager will be implementing a new distributor program and will cultivate agent relationships.
Meanwhile, GTT still has a job listing active for a Director, Financial Planning and Analysis in northern Virginia. After its acquisition of the global IP and Ethernet network of Inteliquent, GTT became one of the world’s largest transit backbones. The company has more expansion in mind for the next few years as well, some of it probably of the inorganic variety with plenty of due diligence and forecasting ahead.
