Another job was posted on the Ramblings’ Jobs board this weekend from a different sector of the economy than usual: the University of Connecticut.
UConn ‘s Information Technology Services group is looking for a Network Technician 4 – Senior Network Engineer. The position would help support the expansion of the Connecticut Education Network, a state-wide IP over Ethernet optical network.
Meanwhile, we still have three other job listings on the books:
Lightower is looking an OSP Network Fiber Engineer in Islandia NY to take responsibility for provisioning of new optical routes across the NY/NJ/Long Island region. And up in the Boston area they are looking for a Network Operations Field Technician to help with installation, turn-up, testing etc.
OTR Global is looking for a part-time telecom reporter. The telecommuting position will focus on wireless and wireline network infrastructure, devices, technology, and related topics.
And while it’s not on the Jobs board directly, Zayo now has a banner in the right sidebar expressing their interest in bandwidth sales professionals.
