More jobs is a good thing right? Well, the overall economy may be struggling to find them, but we have a bumper crop right now on the Ramblings’ Jobs Board. This week we have one new posting from 360Networks and two new postings from OCG.
Western regional operator 360Networks is looking for a Senior VoIP Account Executive in Seattle, responsible for revenue generation via new sales opportunities as well as increasing activity within the existing customer base. 360Networks has been expanding on multiple fronts lately, adding routes to its footprint, products to its portfolio, and obvious sales muscle in VoIP.
New York City and Long Island fiber specialist Optical Communication Group (OCG) is looking for several new faces. To handle ‘explosive growth’ OCG is looking for OSP/ISP Engineers to assist with surveying, designing and supervising expansion of their network. In parallel, they need a Rights of Way Agent to help clear the paths ahead.
These add to the three jobs that Northeastern fiber operator Lightower posted last week to make six. A healthy job market despite the wave of consolidation that has swept the fiber sector in the past 18 months can’t be anything other than a good sign…
