Over on the government’s Broadband USA site, there is this PDF with the various awards granted or pending. Inside it is a collection of the maps that went with each application for funding. As long time readers know, I am a sucker for maps – so I couldn’t resist collecting a few in a more accessible format than a 65 page government generated PDF – some covered here earlier and some not. You can click on each thumbnail for a larger, readable map.
First, here are the maps associated with awards at Zayo, Deltacom, and OpenCape/RCN. Deltacom’s map isn’t actually a map but a network diagram that offers details on the equipment involved from Infinera and Alcatel-Lucent. Zayo’s seems to be not of fiber itself, but of the zone influenced by that fiber to which broadband will be more easily accessible.
